Not that any of us were particularly worried about it, but South Korea’s Finance Ministry said Wednesday that it has no interest to impose a “fat tax” on junk food, saying it would aggravate inflation and have a disproportionate impact on the poor. The ministry made the statement in a report on anti-obesity policies in other countries.
